Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons on AMC's time-travel comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. It was her role in Mad Men that won Christina Hendricks six Emmy Awards for her performance in the Best Supporting Actress category. Since her time in the industry that spans more than two decades she has also gained recognition for her roles on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. In movies, she is acclaimed for her performance in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman.
