Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz as a child. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young at the age of 16. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like that of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially profitable Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects throughout her career. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Additionally, she was an active member of The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
